Mr. ROUDA. Madam Speaker, I rise today to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of the Iranian American Women Foundation. Founded in 2011 as an educational nonprofit organization in Irvine, California, IAWF has worked tirelessly to provide women of Iranian heritage with connections and mentorships to enhance and reinforce their potential.

IAWF strives to promote the economic, academic, entrepreneurial, philanthropic, and scientific contributions of Iranian American women. In the nine years since they have been established, IAWF has hosted 19 Women's Leadership conferences and provided countless scholarships to young women in need. In recognition of their extraordinary work, Mayor Eric Garcetti declared April 27 as the Iranian American Women Day in the City of Los Angeles.

I ask all members to join me in recognizing the extraordinary work of the Iranian American Women Foundation and to celebrate the exemplary work that has culminated in Iranian American Women Day.
